Caitlyn Jenner To Compete In Next California Gubernatorial Election

Reality TV personality and Olympic gold medal winner Caitlyn Jenner said that she would compete in the election for California’s governor next year.

The 71-year-old Jenner would run as a GOP, and she believes that she could end the disastrous time of Gavin Newsom as California’s governor.

For the last decade, a Democratic rule has been prioritizing special interests and politics over people and progress, respectively, Jenner said through her online site. That has reduced the shine of California, she said while adding that Sacramento requires a frank leader whose vision is clear.

Newsom was facing a potential recall election when April 29 was the last day for the counties in California to verify the petition signatures related to the election.

The campaign named ‘Recall Gavin’ announced that it got sufficient signatures for the election. Newsom has been acting strongly against his attackers since that announcement.

Newsom said that he would fight the recall election instead of being distracted by it. There is a lot at stake, Newsom underlined while adding that vaccinating California’s inhabitants, reopening the state economy safely, and getting children back to school matter a lot.

In the event of the recall going to ballot, then California’s voters would face two questions, as per Ballotpedia. One of those questions would be whether they believe Newsome has to be recalled, plus the other would be about his successor.

If over half of the voters favor the process of recalling Newsom, then the potential successor with the maximum votes would be the next governor.
